Patient Services
UCLA Health offers a special service for every international patient by providing him or her with a personal international patient coordinator. The coordinator is a UCLA representative who can help the patient access all of the special services you would expect from a world-class medical center. The patient coordinator will organize all aspects of the medical coordination and financial arrangements, and the coordinator can assist with other logistics (such as interpretation, accommodations, and transportation). After scheduling the patient and receipt of payment, the International Office will provide a letter confirming the appointment details that the patient can present to help with the visa application. You can find a full, detailed list of all services provided by the International Department on the International Patient Coordination webpage at www.uclahealth.org/international. We offer interpreters in Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Korean, Persian, Russian, Vietnamese, and any other languages requested.
