Kennedy Krieger Institute is internationally recognized for improving the lives of more than 20,000 children and young adults with disorders and injuries of the brain, spinal cord, and musculoskeletal system each year through inpatient and outpatient clinics; home and community services; and school-based programs. Our clinical programs include more than 70 inpatient and outpatient programs that offer an interdisciplinary approach to treatment tailored to the individual needs of each patient. Our specialists are among some of the world’s leading experts in developmental and neurological disorders and injuries, and they are attuned to the special needs of these children.

Patient Services

Traveling thousands of miles to give your child access to the best medical care is a challenge. To make your journey easier, the Kennedy Krieger Institute helps coordinate the many services you may need for your visit. Our experts are here to help. With the assistance of Johns Hopkins Medicine International, we assist with the planning and details and will do everything else we can to make your experience as seamless and stress-free as possible. We can assist with coordinating the many services necessary to receive medical care including assistance with interpreters, financial arrangements, accommodations, travel, and visa issues. Interpreter services for foreign languages or sign languages can be arranged in advance for medical appointments and therapy sessions.
