Patient Services

Our services include second medical opinions; 24-hour international patient services and access to multilingual patient representatives, nurses, and physicians; insurance verification; and personalized, timely coordination of all medical, hospital, and diagnostic appointments. International patients also have access to concierge-style services, which include coordination of lodging and transportation upon request.

Baptist Health’s internationally renowned centers of excellence comprise Miami Cancer Institute, Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, Baptist Health Neuroscience Center, Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute, Center for Robotic Surgery, and the Breast Center at Miami Cancer Institute. Miami Cancer Institute combines innovation and precision in cancer care with Baptist Health South Florida’s renowned focus on patient experience and convenience. It will house a proton therapy center, the only one in South Florida, which will offer patients precise doses of radiation treatment that avoids healthy tissue.

Miami Cancer Institute will be supported by a clinical and research alliance with one of the leading academic cancer centers in the world, Memorial Sloan Kettering, to allow for patient access to clinical trials and investigator-initiated research. The MSK Cancer Alliance is a dynamic and forward-thinking collaboration aimed at improving patient access to the latest and most effective cancer treatment advances and the highest caliber of cancer care.
