Patient Services
Memorial Hermann offers valet parking at the main hospital entrances as well as the Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza, which is a 30-story medical office building on campus with physician office space; an ambulatory care center; and two floors dedicated to retail shops, services and restaurants. Designed for patients who prefer an atmosphere more commonly associated with fine hotels, our Signature Suites and Services offer quality, attentive care in a private, healing setting with larger-than-average hospital rooms. We offer interpreter services in all languages, and our diverse medical staff has hundreds of multilingual affiliated physicians.
Areas of specialization at the Mischer Neuroscience Institute include pineal cysts, trigeminal neuralgia, Chiari malformation, brain tumors, epilepsy, stroke, spinal injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. Memorial Hermann Heart and Vascular Institute is recognized for interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and complex vascular and heart surgeries (particularly in minimally invasive surgical options for heart failure and heart and lung transplantation). Affiliated physicians at the Ertan Digestive Disease Center are internationally known for treating Barrett’s esophagus, motility disorders, and irritable bowel disease. Our Cancer Center is credentialed as a “Teaching Hospital Cancer Program” by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. The Memorial Hermann Transplant Center is a regional leader in quality outcomes, with celebrated surgeons for liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation. Children’s Memorial Hermann has renowned programs in neurosciences, trauma, orthopedics, cardiac care, and transplantation. Memorial Hermann Orthopedic & Spine Hospital has earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Knee Replacement, the only hospital in Houston to earn this distinction. TIRR Memorial Hermann offers nationally recognized rehabilitation services for traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, spinal cord injury (SCI), amputation, multiple trauma, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease, other neurological or neuromuscular disorders, and complex orthopedic injuries.
