The International Patient Center at Massachusetts General Hospital is a full-service office that helps international patients; their families; and their physician navigate treatment at Mass General before, during, and after the patient’s visit. International Patient Center staff are available to help with:

  • Appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and coordinating follow-up appointments
  • Inpatient admissions process coordination (including requesting specially prepared meals if needed)
  • Language interpretation
  • Transferring medical records to and from Massachusetts General Hospital
  • Correspondence and coordination with the patient’s doctors in his/her home country
  • Financial questions and arrangements, including pre-care estimates for fees, deposits, and payments
  • Guest services such as lodging, dining, activities, directions
