Patient Services

Physicians and their patients who use Broward Health have easy access to a full array of services. Entering into a foreign country can be overwhelming, especially when medical attention is needed. At Broward Health International, we understand this and offer a concierge approach to put patients’ and their families’ minds at ease.

There is a designated number where BHI Clinical Staff will pick up your call 24/7/365. The Intake Coordination Team is responsible for coordinating transfer requests and air ambulance traffic, scheduling appointments with Broward Health Physicians throughout the district, and keeping open communication with all parties involved to ensure the highest level of service.

One-on-one concierge customer service is the heart and soul of Broward Health International. Anticipating our guests’ unstated needs is our goal, and each fulfillment of a need is as individual as the guest.

The Broward Health International Hospitality Team serves as the liaison between the patient and all departments and service providers throughout the Broward Health Hospital District. The goal is to welcome our guests to South Florida and help navigate the patient and their companion(s) through the system; guide them through the discharge process; and offer information about transportation, lodging, and possible follow-up needs.

More than 1,700 of South Florida’s leading physicians collaborate with our team of 8,000 skilled nurses and other healthcare professionals. Our affiliations with Florida International University School of Medicine, Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the University of Miami provide additional expertise and opportunity. Broward Health Physician Group is a multi-specialty team of more than 70 employed doctors, specializing in cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, oncology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, pediatrics, primary care, and more.
